Bench Assistant Chat or Notes Are Disabled

If Bench Assistant chat, voice, or session-note controls appear disabled, first check the Bench Session state.

Is the session on break?

When you choose Take Break, AXB pauses the Bench Session itself.

While the session is on break:

• Bench Assistant Chat is disabled
• Realtime Voice is disconnected
• Manual session notes are disabled

Choose Resume to continue the Bench Session.

Pause Voice is different

If you only chose Pause voice, the Bench Session is still active.

You should still be able to use Chat and supported session controls while Voice is disconnected.

Is the session already ended?

An ended session is part of repair history and cannot be resumed as an active session.

Start a new Bench Session if more work needs to be documented.
