Shop Roles: Owner, Admin, and Staff
Understand the current shop-management permissions for owners, admins, and staff.

AXB Tech currently uses three shop roles:
- Owner
- Admin
- Staff
These roles control shop-management actions in addition to normal repair access.
Owner
The Owner has the highest shop-management authority.
The Owner can:
- View the staff list and pending invitations
- Invite Admins or Staff
- Manage roles for non-owner members
- Disable or reactivate eligible members
- Manage Shop Settings
The current private-beta workflow does not support inviting another Owner or transferring ownership through the normal staff controls.
Admin
Admins can help manage the shop, with narrower authority than the Owner.
Admins can:
- View the staff list and pending invitations
- Invite Staff
- Manage supported Staff access
- Manage Shop Settings
Admins cannot promote someone to Owner.
Staff
Staff members can use the shop features available to them but do not manage the staff roster or shop membership.
Safety rules
Users cannot use the staff-management tools to change their own role or disable themselves.
AXB also keeps shop memberships separate, so a role change in one shop does not change the person's membership in another shop.
