Using the Knowledge Library and Knowledge Assistant
Store approved shop knowledge, ask questions against it, and turn repair experience into reusable documentation.
Published October 16, 2026
The Knowledge Library is your shop's approved collection of reusable information.
It is intended for information the shop wants to keep and use again, such as:
- Repair procedures
- Troubleshooting methods
- Setup standards
- Shop policies
- Supplier or part-fit information
- Useful technical discoveries
Knowledge is shop-specific. It is separate from the public AXB Support Center and separate from raw repair history.
Create a Knowledge entry
You can create a new entry directly from the Knowledge Library.
Knowledge entries can include:
- Title
- Body
- Category
- Tags
- Source information
Review the information before saving so Knowledge remains a trusted shop resource.
Add repair information to Knowledge
Reusable information can also be promoted from supported shop records, including items such as:
- Bench notes
- Saved Bench Session summaries
- Work-order Internal Notes
- Saved Shop Session summaries
Choose Add to Knowledge, review the proposed entry, and save it only if the information should become reusable shop knowledge.
Repair history is never automatically treated as a shop-wide rule.
Ask Knowledge
Open Knowledge Assistant and use Ask Knowledge to ask questions against approved Knowledge entries.
Ask Knowledge is intentionally limited to the shop's approved Knowledge. When the answer is not covered there, the assistant should tell you instead of quietly substituting unrelated information.
Answers can identify the Knowledge entries used as sources.
Create Article
Use Create Article when you want help turning existing shop information into a reusable Knowledge article.
The assistant can prepare a draft using approved Knowledge and supported shop records.
The draft is not automatically saved.
Choose Review & save to open the normal Knowledge review flow, make any changes you want, and then save it to the library.
Dictation
Knowledge Assistant can use browser dictation to fill the prompt box.
Dictation does not automatically send the prompt or save an article.
