Run a Final Inspection
Start the built-in final inspection checklist, record results, and see what remains before closeout.

Final Inspection gives the shop a consistent last check before an instrument is returned to the customer.
Start the inspection
Open the work order and go to Final Inspection.
Choose Start Final Inspection if the checklist has not already been created.
Starting the inspection creates the checklist. It does not automatically mark anything complete and it does not change the work-order status.
Work through the checklist
The standard guitar inspection includes checks for:
- Requested work verified
- Visual / finish condition
- Hardware and tightness
- Frets and playability
- Neck relief
- Action
- Intonation
- Electronics and output
- Tuning stability
- Clean and polish
- Case, accessories, and handoff notes
Items such as relief and action can include measurement notes.
Mark an item
Each item can be:
- Checked — completed and verified
- N/A — genuinely not applicable
- Pending — still needs attention
You can also add a note without changing the item's status.
AXB keeps who completed the check and when.
Complete the inspection
When every item is either Checked or N/A, AXB shows that Final Inspection is complete.
Completing the checklist does not automatically change the order to Ready for Pickup or Done. The final status remains a staff decision.
What if items are still pending?
If you try to move the order toward completion with pending inspection items, AXB can warn you.
The warning does not hard-block the status change during the current pilot workflow, so staff still control the final decision.
